But before we start, just answer a small question, that what comes into your mind when I say JAPAN? One of the most beautiful and advanced country filled with some of the most hardworking people. 
A country which is so ahead when it comes to technology, literacy and it's IT sector. Some of you may have sympathy for Japan, because of the nuclear attack done over it's cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki. But today I will make you aware about the DARK side of Japan's military and the severe inhuman acts performed by those people in Nanjing city of China, which will really make you question that does Japan deserves all that sympathy and view of honour and a tag of advanced modern country. NOW, this article is not to blame TODAY'S JAPAN or to awake sympathy for China. I'm just sharing one of the most darkest stories of history and most disturbing facts nobody knows, The Nanjing Massacre.

In the period of 1937, during 2nd Sino Japanese war, when Japan attacked China. The cause of war was Korean peninsular. Republic of China and Empire of Japan, both wants Korea to merge with them. During this time Chiang Kai-Shek was in power in China and at the same time, the party of Mao Zedong was making efforts to take control over the Republic of China. Japan took full advantage of this internal discrepancies. 
During that time in Japan Emperor Hirohito was ruling. After the attack over Chinese republic, Japan first took control over Shanghai. Then it wanted to take control over it's capital Nanjing (previously called Nanking). For this purpose to lead Japanese army, general Iwane Matsui was put incharge and on 9 December 1937, Japan attacked over Nanking. In the first 2 days only about 20000-25000 chinese soldiers died. Japan was in extreme power and when Chiang Kai-Shek realized that there is no stopping to Japanese soldiers, he immediately called off rest of the remaining soldiers. Till 12th December, there was not a single Chinese soldier left in Nanking and the city was totally left in the hands of Japanese soldiers as it is.   • Whoever was coming in front of Japanese army was shot in this Nanjing Massacre. 
  • People were pulled out of there houses and killed brutally like animals. 
  • Males of the family were collected and brought near the river and filled with bullets, and they were collectively thrown in the river. 
  • Some of the people were burnt alive and not only this, we don't know how many people were buried alive during Nanjing massacre. 
  • You might be surprised but all this was done just in the name of Entertainment by Japanese soldiers, and the worst part is still remaining. 
  • In the extreme genocide of Nanjing massacre many people were bombed by dynamite and landmines. 
  • Japanese soldiers used to rape Chinese children and women. Right from a child to a old woman of about 80 years was Raped by Japanese soldiers during this genocide. 
  • There was a competition between two Japanese soldiers that who brings the head of 100 people first. And for this countless people were murdered.

  • Mammary glands of Several women were cut in the name of entertainment. Every night almost 2000 women were raped by Japanese Soldiers during the Nanjing massacre. 
  • Small children were hanged through the Spear. The spear was rising through the child's stomach and hanged in the pride of Japanese soldiers. 
  • Also during the Nanjing massacre, Japanese soldiers used to force a father to rape his own 6-7 years old daughter and in case of refusal, death is the only punishment

  • Countless sons were forced to make physical contact, with their own mother. 
  • There were several monks in the Nanking at that time, who use to practice celibacy throughout their lives. But during the Nanjing massacre, these monks were forced to make physical contact. 
  • Just for the sake of entertainment Japanese soldiers done various weird and inhuman experiments with Nanking people. 
  • Animal blood was transfused to human body. Newly born child was thrown out in cold to see how much time it takes to die. 
  • The organs were taken out from the body of patients that to keeping them in conscious state, while performing these acts. Japanese soldiers used to enjoy this. 
  • Various tests were done on body of Nanking people. This includes using of harmful chemicals, gases and acids. 
Let me remind you that all this was done for the entertainment of Japanese soldiers and everything was published in Japanese newspaper in their country. And after reading these news of Nanjing genocide, Japanese people used to get a sense of pride over their soldiers and it made them happy. The Nanjing massacre continued for about 6 weeks and during this extreme genocide about 3 lakhs people were brutally killed. About 80,000 women were made victim to the sexual desires of Japanese soldiers.

This whole incident of the Nanjing massacre was somehow told to John Rabe. John Rabe was leading the Nazi army of Japan. Through Rabe only the whole incident of Nanjing massacre was transferred to Hitler. Hitler who is hated by billions of people today, and why not after all he was another genocidal maniac who killed thousands of Jews in the name of their inferior race. But after listening to the Nanjing massacre, it awaked humanity in even Hitler's heart. He immediately passed an order for Japanese soldiers to stop the Genocidal act in Nanking. 
The 2nd Sino Japanese war came to an end with the 2nd World War in 1945. 

The whole incident had been narrated and various other inhuman acts done by Japanese soldiers is mentioned in the book 'The Rape of Nanking' by Iris Chang.
